Portland, Jamaica – The island of Jamaica is definitely bursting with talent and one of Reggae’s future royalty, “CARL PRINCE” is on his way to claiming his throne in the Reggae Industry. Today marks the day of his introduction to the world as he takes the necessary steps by developing and launching his career in the most professional manner.

Inspired by his musical grandfather’s heavy booming basslines, music was instilled in him as he grew up watching him play his bass guitar. He planted a seed for Carl Prince’s musical passion which also afforded him the opportunity to become a multi-talented recording artist, songwriter, producer and composer. Not only was his grandfather a major part of his love of music, yet he was also influenced by the legendary Bunny Wailer and Jimmy Cliff.

Even though his career is just getting started, he is dedicated to already giving back by mentoring others on the rise as well with their musical journeys. His goals are to become a brand in the industry, to open his own studio, and to one day win a Grammy.

Carl is in the process of finishing up his album which is expected to debut this summer 2014. He recently composed and produced the newly released single by fellow Portland recording artist, Trivento entitled “Hurry Come Up Bad Boy” which was released in January 2014.

Carl Prince realizes that the present state of Reggae music and its evolution is being diluted with a multitude of genre fusions and computerized instruments. His current productions are definitely preserving the kind of authentic Reggae music that put Jamaica on the map worldwide and created one of the island’s most popular brands. His musical projects will most often incorporate live musicians in order to safeguard that sweet sweet sound of Reggae music which is loved by people globally and enjoyed by fans from all walks of life.

You are invited to check out Carl Prince’s Sound Cloud player and enjoy 5 of his latest releases. Carl Prince is definitely bringing it back with the authentic Reggae music from the nineties that everyone loves and longs for..
